This is a pretty huge move, especially considering all previous Metro games have been on Valve’s platform. On Valve’s store, the standard edition of the game was $59.99 USD, but over at Epic, it’s ten bucks cheaper to sit at $49.99. The game publisher is putting money where its mouth is. By teaming up with Epic we will be able to invest more into the future of Metro and our ongoing partnership with series developer 4A Games, to the benefit of our Metro fans.

The big reason isn’t too hard to figure out, but Deep Silver doesn’t shy away:Įpic’s generous revenue terms are a game changer that will allow publishers to invest more into content creation, or pass on savings to the players.
